The Dallas Fort Worth design community provides excellent opportunities for students to exhibit their best work and compete for awards. Students are strongly encouraged to enter and are given guidance and support by the faculty and TCU Graphic Design’s student organization, Design Focus. The American Advertising Federation and the Dallas Society of Visual Communications both hold highly visible student competitions each year. TCU is well represented in both competitions with students winning a number of top awards for their work.

The annual TCU Graphic Design Student Competition provides an opportunity for students to earn scholarships, qualify for the Graphic Design Honor Society, win awards, and be showcased in the Graphic Design Student Show held in the Moudy Gallery.

Throughout the academic year, students receive credit for entering these shows as well as numerous others. Graphic Design student work has been featured in national publications including Graphis and HOW magazines.
